Architecture Students from Toluca, Mexico Came to Visit

We were excited to have hosted the architecture students from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Fort Worth’s sister city of Toluca, Mexico at our education center for a project briefing and then a tour of the project sites on April 16!

The students heard a presentation giving an overview of the three projects and one initiative associated with the Trinity River Vision. They learned about the vision as a whole and the unique pieces that make it up from the needed flood protection to the revitalization of almost 800-acres of land in our Central City. After seeing the presentation, the students took a tour of the project area where they were able to get a first-hand look at TxDOT’S three signature bridges that are currently under construction and stop by the confluence of the west and clear fork of the Trinity River, which will one day be home to the expanded 33-acre town lake.
