On November 17, 2021, the Emerging Professionals Event was held at Panther Island Brewing. This event had a great turnout and brought together numerous local organizations such as Steer Fort Worth, Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, American Institute of Architects, BRIDGE and Leadership Fort Worth.
This event began with a networking portion followed by a brief introduction of the organizations represented at the event. Fort Worth City District 2 Councilmember, Carlos Flores, spoke about the history of Fort Worth and the new residential area before the presentation update over the Panther Island/Central City Flood Project. After the presentation, groups were taken over to the new Encore Panther Island multifamily development to receive a tour of the canal.
