Relax on the Trinity River
Go to Backwoods Paddlesports at Panther Island Pavilion to rent a kayak, canoe or stand-up paddleboard. Then relax and enjoy the beautiful views along the Trinity River. Reserve your watercraft ahead of time on their website.
Walk, Run or Bike the Trinity Trails
With over 100 miles of Trinity Trails there is plenty of space to explore alongside the river! Cool off and come out to have a nice time on the trails.
Take a Beer Break
Enjoy a nice cold beer at Panther Island Brewing, located at the corner of 4th and Main Street. The Taproom is open Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00pm – 10:00pm and Friday through Sunday from 12:00pm – 10:00pm.
Cuddle up at Coyote Drive-In
Cuddle up in the comfort of your car and enjoy a movie at the Coyote Drive-in. With a playground for kids, beer garden and beautiful view of the sunset, this place is perfect for everyone. Every night, on four different screens, this famous drive-in shows double features rain or shine!
Rent a Bike and Go Exploring
Rent a bike at the Fort Worth B-cycle station at Taylor Circle. Then hop on the trails at Panther Island and explore the gorgeous views in the wonderful fall weather.
Grab a Picture with Major Ripley Allen Arnold
The statue of Fort Worth’s famous founder, Major Ripley Arnold, is located at the McMillan Plaza next to Panther Island Pavilion. Learn about some of Fort Worth’s rich history and grab your picture with this grand statue!

Enjoy this fun fall activity and explore by participating in the TRWD Trinity Trails Geocaching Adventure GeoTour! Seek out and find the number of stores geocaches along the trails and the one hidden on the island. If you find one, post a picture of it on your social media and tag us so we can be a part of your adventure!
